Wouldn't touch that car... Wouldn't even stop and look at it. Neglect, ugly rims, just shows the owner didn't give two ***** about the car, and the rest of it probably reflects that. IMO

its a very little project. i have a set of stock wheels..thats would solve that. head lights.. open them up wet sand lenes and put em back together..quick fix..remove tips. and a god wax and polish. and it would be decent. i wouldnt buy it to sell it right away. id buy it and enjoy it for a while. and the auto...yes. but some people dont mind an auto..for a cruiser.neglect? dude. the guy died. the rest of the car is clean. hell they spent 900 bucks paying someone to do the water pump..they got ripped but still. the car is lucky to say 100 miles a month. it was a toy. and sits outside..besides having a few scuffs and scratches here and there..its not bad.
ugly rims? they are..the org were stolen way back when. and those were bought..remember..early 90's thing.
everything you say it seems like it it aint as nice as yours then done touch it.its a very little project. i have a set of stock wheels..thats would solve that. head lights.. open them up wet sand lenes and put em back together..quick fix..remove tips. and a god wax and polish. and it would be decent. i wouldnt buy it to sell it right away. id buy it and enjoy it for a while. and the auto...yes. but some people dont mind an auto..for a cruiser.

Who says it wasnt as nice as mine, your digging for things now kid, thats sad??? Relax a little, you asked for opinions on a car, if you didn't want them, don't make a post asking for them. If your going to take all the reasons "I" wouldnt buy the car, and tell me why I'm wrong, get off the internet, go over to the house and buy it???
Don't ask an opinion based question and then get offended by someones opinion.![]()
no its just a lot of your guys opinions are biased because you don't like verts.

You know what needs to be fixed and how to do it. You know better then us how it looks in person. You said it drives well and everything works like new. So whats the hold up?no its just a lot of your guys opinions are biased because you don't like verts.

Sorry to say, but there is no way in hell you'll get $3k outta that thing next spring, or even now, even fixed up - more like $2200, at best. You're gonna have like $500 in that thing before spring, anyhow, so your "profit" might only be about $200, tops ... which would make it hardly worth selling, if that's the only reason why you'd be selling it.
Again, if you're gonna buy it, buy it to KEEP it - DO NOT buy this thing to flip it, mark my words, you're just gonna lose a bunch of time and not gain any cash (might even lose some) in the process.
That being said, I don't think the car is a turd, and $1,500 for that thing does sound plenty fair. And hey ... it's black, so that's an automatic plus in my eyes.If you genuinely like the car enough that you'd be willing to keep it for a few years, go for it; if you're only looking at this as some kind of an investment opportunity, PLEASE, save yourself the frustration and expense and look for a notch or a hatch, instead. Again, I've been through enough cars in my time to be able to tell you this from experience. DON'T BE A DAVE!
