I'm a Designer/Drafter for a drilling contractor. Been doing CAD work for 18 years now......(longer than some of you have been alive.... damn I'm getting old)

We design/build/operate our onshore and offshore drilling rigs, but, lease them out to oil and gas companies.

Lol I got several friends that go to state, I'll have to give you a holler when I get a chance to go visit.

As for me, I'm currently in my first year of a two year machining tech program at the community college. Our shop is one of the best, and focuses on the cnc aspect in the 2nd year, which is gonna be great.

I also help my dad in the shop part time working on cars and cleaning the store part lol.

1. I'm a manager at a T-Mobile customer care call center, for the next 4 days. I recently landed a new job. I will be working for a company that does marketing for travel. My positon will be a Customer Support & Training Coordinator.

2. I'm a Combat Engineer for The ARMY National Guard. Currently an E3, waiting on my E4.

3. I also working as a Recruiting Assistant for The Army National Guard, by Docupak, Inc. Thankfully, it's salary and I make my own hours. It's been tough, because I only recruit hot chicks, however, I haven't had much luck. Atleast recruiting them.

And, I plan on going back to school full time, to work on a degree in Criminal Justice.

junior in college at the citadel right now. we arent allowed to hold jobs during the school year since we are only allowed off campus on wednesdays and weekends for certain time periods. before i got here and on my christmas and summer breaks however i work at a family run independent auto repair shop as a tech. been doing it for about 5 years now. i like it alright but i am going into the fire dept. this summer as a volunteer and going in full time after i graduate next year. with the schedule that the fire stations around here run all of the guys that work at them hold second jobs since most of them work 2 days on 2 days off or a similar variation. ill keep working at the shop on my days off from the station for a little extra money and to let my old man have a few days off since he's getting a little beat down after being in the business for 30 years. Other than that i plan on sitting around drinking beer as much as possible and working on my own car...i will fund these hobbies by carrying out my plan to marry my fiance who will be going to med school shortly

I'm 19 and I'm a Harley-Davidson technician at a full-line dealership. It doesn't pay what it sounds like it should, but it's a lot of fun, and I like the people I work with/for, so it works for now. I just got approved for test rides, so I'll be getting paid to ride motorcycles all summer

30 yrs old here - attorney and licensed PA realtor.

I pretty much busted my a$$ through school and am finally at a decent point where I can enjoy my cars and have some left for the mods. Trust me - I have had close to every job possible through high school and college - CAD designer, snowplow/grass business, junior mechanic / gas jockey, personal trainer, bouncer, GNC sales, overnight shift at RPS (like UPS) through college unloading and loading trucks It has made me appreciate where I am at now.

32 years old- Senior Director, Shooter, Editor for a Production Company.

We do national & regional commercials, along with documentaries and TV Programming. I work on most all projects but am the director of the TV Programming side. We shoot fishing shows (not your grandpa's fishing shows) and are currently working on a music show. Here is a link to one of our shows. www.scottmartinchallenge.com

Most of the work was done on my car back in 1991 when it was rare to see one moded out like we do today. I was still in college and worked full-time as a HVAC Tech and installed audio systems on the side. So, I don't know how I even had the time to do anything to it, but it happened. Although it has become a garge queen for the last 5 years, and it is currently in the process of a make-over since it needed all new gaskets and seals anyway, why not.

I make good money, but I am extremely cheap. I already think I spend too much on my cars and it is not even close to as much as most people on here spend.

Like myself, a few of us are service writers/advisors or do something in the car business. I'm 19 years old and have done everything from detail, sell, to service and everything in between. I love the peeps I work with but I have to agree with the resounding opinion....

THE CAR BUSINESS SUCKS!

Sincerly,
Mr. 10,012.
