Here's the deal. I have several projects to do on my 95 GT and my daily driver (94 V6). I know how to do all the work, but I can never find enough time to get any of it done. I really want to do all the work on my 'stangs myself, but I just can't get the mental energy to start. I don't know if I'm psyching myself out, bit off more than I can handle or I'm just lazy.

Point is, I need help working on my projects. I'm hoping I can find one or two of you that would be willing to help me out. I'll definitely be turning wrenches with you, so the work should go fast. I've already done a lot of work over the years: brakes, ss lines & rotors, all four springs, rear lca's, etc. Even pulled the entire interior on the GT for cleaning and repainting.

All work would be on the weekends of course. I don't have a specific date, we can decide later when we all have time.

I'm happy to pay you for your time. Whether it's just gas money, pizza & beer or plain cash, we'll talk about it.

The first project is a new 7.5" rear axle for the V6. Got a used one from a 2000 V6; guy put in new bearings, 4.10 gears and a trac-lok. Got it all for cheap; $100. Also have a SpeedCal, uca's and an aluminum driveshaft to put in at the same time. I figure the uca's and driveshaft are already half off when we pull the rear axle, so it should be easy enough to do 'em all at the same time.

The rear axle does not have brake lines; it came bare. I have all new hard lines, but they need to be bent to fit on the axle. This is the part that's taking me forever to finish.

I live in West LA, near the 10 and 405 interchange. Please PM me if you think you can help out.

Thanks,

Matt

I live in huntington beach and have many mechanic friends that charge me very little to just have them do work for me. This might be a viable option for you.
