Software for laptop tuning?

With tweecer do you just install it on a laptop and can hook it up to the OBDII connection? I have a friend who has an extra laptop and just wants to hook up it up and log data. Is the base model tweecer good for that or are there other products or roots you would suggest?

No, you physically plug the TwEECer into the J3 port on the cpu. Then run a USB cable from the TwEECer to your cpu to make changes and datalog.

Also, a base model cannot datalog.

so there are no programs to just create data logs by hooking your laptop up to your car besides tweecer rt?

To my knowledge there is no standalone datalogger that you can buy. SCT used to sell the Raptor, but now datalogging is integrated into the X2. The TwEECer is first and formost a tuning device.

I didn't mention Autotap because I haven't heard of anyone using it in a long time.

Though really, what's the use in datalogging if you don't have something to tune the car with?

Datalogging with laptop can be done with Diablosport Predator or Xcal2.
