solenoid help???

this might be in the wrong section but is a 4.6 kit so i didnt know. i just got an nx plate system for my car and i have 1 question. on the fuel and nitrous solenoid there are two wires that look the same i know on is a ground snd one is a positive but how can u tell when they look the same???

A solenoid just has a coil of wire that acts as a electromagnet. It doesn't matter which wire you use for hot or ground. It will work either way.

It doesn't matter. You just need 12v to create the magnetic field and trip the solenoid. One side to ground, the other to the switch and you are good to go.
