Where I live, they don't know what street lights are, so.....
I installed my own.
Yes, I am sure they are illegal. I have them installed with a relay tied into my high beam switch.
Once the sun goes down, the MCM Motorsports Mustang provides its own daylight.

Nice, but does it get that dark? Put some xenon bulbs in there and see how many people you turn into Ray Charles.

Tried them and I really wasn't that impressed. Not to mention fear of frying my headlight harnesses.ACSPONY said:Nice, but does it get that dark?Put some xenon bulbs in there and see how many people you turn into Ray Charles.

I replaced my stock headlight bulbs with Sylvania Silverstar bulbs, and the extra brightness I got is plenty enough for me.

Cool, Mine were Hellas but I'm not sure what model.
I know what you are talking about, there are no street lights outside of Wilmington NC.

HID's actually don't shine any further than regular halogen bulbs but they do have more of a spectrum. They conducted a test here in Toronto recently and it was an interesting read.

isn't there a 2005 with 6?

hope you dont fry anything, I used to have 4 foglights hooked to one switch in a ranger and fried the switch a few times. I think it looks a little cheesy on the stang.
