Wow, a lot of you people here just lurk to make fun. if that's the case just gtfo if you don't have any real experience. Who cares about punctuation, this is all bs child's play. I've seen people who have dropped out of h.s work on professional track cars and are smarter then myself and a good amount of people on this forum most likely. I don't give 2 rats asses about the petty arguments take it somewhere else or p/m each other.

On another not I got the kit in today, they messed my order up and sent me 2 sets of turbo headers and forgot to send inter cooler piping etc.

I was really jazzed about the bang for the buck by On3 and was about to pull the trigger until I came across this guy's post. Fortunately I read it and listened to the video before I gave On3 my money. I hate people who are dishonest and will never ever do business with this company or buy their products...

I first saw this on corral but it's kinda iffy over there, being on3 is a site sponsor. In case you boys and girls weren't clear on this, it's called FRAUD and it's a FELONY.

I bought my on3 kit from Chris Power Adder Solutions. The kit is cheap, and fits very well, and my car made 512whp through an auto. I don't use meth, and made that power on 93oct. Get a 340 pump, at at least 42 injectors. I used 60's. Its very easy to install. If your car is on jack stands for that long, its defiantly not the parts fault. That would be a owner issue, it be brains or money issues.

Sseater and Bentley, I understand the burning of on3, there customer service is horrible. I recommend going with a company like jegs if you are going to order the kit. I talked to them and everything is sorted out now.

On3 definitely seems to have sub-par customer service, but every "horror story" I hear about them involves a problematic customer as well, and this one's not really much different. If it was so important to him to use Siemens injectors, he should have returned the injectors the minute he saw that they were On3 injectors, or at least called On3 and questioned about them. Why did this even take 6 months to materialize? Lots of companies are going to be hesitant to make returns 6 months after the purchase. Also, you can't bitch about the cost and time involved with tuning if you don't educate yourself to do it yourself.

I dunno, bitch about it to your buddies, but return the damn injectors and take the $70 hit and chalk it up to the inconveniences associated with a $1500 turbo kit. He's still money wellll ahead of any other power adder system out there. He could always go out and buy a $4000 Hellion kit!

Say what you want, but I'll gladly give $4k to Hellion, Pony Down, or any of the other reputable companies out there besides this guy. You really do get what you pay for. After the Chinese turbo, wastegate and BOV have crapped out, what are you left with? A bunch of piping that you have to try and match new equipment with, may as well spend the money on name brand stuff that will last. Do a search of all the failed On3 equipment out there and you'll see what I mean.. So, in a nutshell I respectfully disagree with being money ahead.

Also, I can totally understand figuring out 6 months down the road some faulty equipment and wanting a refund, hell I chased a glitch with my PCM longer than that before figuring it out. In our hobby that's not uncommon, he should have been more willing to help. Sure, there can be customers out there who can be total tools, but If you listen to the phone call that's clearly NOT the case here. This is why I like to do business with companies like LMR and Summit because they go out of their way to make their customers happy and keep them coming back- On3 clearly doesn't care about that mind set. I work hard for my money and like to feel like when I spend it, it's going to someone who can appreciate me as a customer. Call me old school, but I miss being back in the day when "the customer was always right".

Give your hard earned money to someone who refuses to help you when you need it if you want to, I'm out.

Agreed whole heartedly, that's what I'm trying to say. Spend $1500 on a Chinese turbo kit, then act like you're somehow being cheated when it doesn't work right first shot... Seems childish. Either roll with the punches and deal with the shortcomings of a cheap product, or sack up and buy something that costs more than twice as much. If On3 had Summit-like customer service and Honda-like reliability, their turbo kits would probably run a few dollars more than $1500. In this scenario you really can't have your cake and eat it too, and anybody who thinks otherwise is a tard. It's funny when these people want to crucify On3, how quickly they forget that they spent thousands of dollars less than they could have. YGWYPF.

Ageed, but how do you feel about On3 advertising Seimens injectors, then accepting money and shipping Chinese parts? Should you just roll with that? I mean, really?

I agree with the both of you, and especially stated by sseater. The kits weakness is its main components. But also understand that most of these kits prevent op from keeping a/c or power steering. I went with the on3 kit with plans on replacing the blow off valve and waste gate. I got the china turbo because i had no other choice. Jegs didnt offer the percision turbo. But it'll hang for a while until time for an upgrade. You can't really complain with the price of the on3 kit. It's a great deal. The problem is the people who are selling it.

Oh yeah, an additional comment, I tried calling on3 in hopes to them taking back the on3 turbo and letting me purchase the precision. Is not going to happen, gotta love these guys.

It's chitty, but then again, On3 has a reputation for shipping incorrect parts. Could have been intentionally malicious, or a simple mistake. Regardless, had the customer addressed it up front, right when he received the kit and before he put the injectors on the car and thrashed it on the dyno, this may have had a different outcome. I notice that in the recorded phone call, the On3 guy (Chad?) never made an argument that they were or weren't Siemens injectors, or that they were even supposed to be.

I dunno, if it were me, you can be sure as chit that if I specifically asked for Siemens injectors and the day I opened the box and they WEREN'T Siemens, they would have been back in the box and on their way to On3 Performance. This guy set himself up for failure by letting things go as far as they did. For all he knows, they could have accidentally sent him 30lb injectors and he's lucky his car didn't blow up.

Agreed, and how are you supposed to know with these china injectors? They dont seem to have s/n on them. And he stated specifically in the video " The receipt even says Siemens" Fail on both parties.

This is a very good point. I was under the impression the guy (customer) didn't realize what he had untill the tuner checked the fuel situation with the car.. Again, like I said with taking a long time to sort out problems.

This:

only reinforces my opinion that the guy is dishonest scum..

I'm with you, you can bet your sweet patootie that if I opened the box and found "made in china" I'd have shoved them up On3's butt right then... But I don't think the guy knew what he had until he sorted his fuel problem.

Dead on! Yes, you can do it yourself for less. Want a guarantee that it'll look and run well, and be straightforward to install? Then, buy the kit from a reputable shop.

I'm on my 3rd turbo motor now. My turbo cars have always run hard, and I doubt I'll be looking for another form of forced induction for my car any time soon. Not too many people build a badass turbo car and then scrap it for a blower, but the reverse happens pretty often.

The comment about not running A/C years ago is BS. I've always had A/C and have had my incon kit since 2004, and even back then, the kit was old.

Well jegs called today, and after being assured everything will be taken care of things seem to have backfired. They are completely out of stock, and the only leftover boxes they have are the header assembly. So now they have to go to the manufactor only they cannot get a hold of them. Seems like a game of cat and mouse, I may end up sending everything back to jegs.
