Somebody else has a new(used) pony!

Very cool to see the 2.3 turbo cars getting more popular again. Car looks like its in great shape considering its a 20 year old car. Ive been playing with the 2.3T for awhile now and strongly recommend Turboford.org. Im sure you will get a ton of ideas there. I would have had alot tougher time building my turbonotch without them. As far as weight they are actually closer to 3k lbs.
300 rwhp is only a ported head, intake, and exhaust manifold, and bigger turbo away. Size the turbo right and even with low boost the lag will be less than stock. If you really want to go crazy there are people running Esslinger heads, turbo headers, and Cummins H.O. HX35 turbos making waaaay over 400 rwhp. With supporting fuel system and such of course.
So put the 3k lbs and that much power together with the handling capabilies and you have quite a fun car.

Congrats on the purchase.
