I have a 98 GT and today it started to act up. It is rough to start like the battery is dying. I went to Advanced Auto and they ran tests on the battery and the alternator, and everything checked out ok. However, while i am driving or sitting at a stop light, the car will shut itself off for a sec or two and sputter back to life. The same thing happens while i am accelerating, and also while i am driving the radio and electronics will go out for a sec but the car still runs. And the only time the check engine light comes on is when it stalls, but right when the car comes back on the light goes off and the car does not store any of the codes. any help is appreciated
Thanks

Is the car hard to to start or does it just die intermittenly? How about if you just start and idle? Does it hunt for idle?

Does the car run fine when you get on it or does it stumble?

It could just be another IAC or something as simple as loose gound, vac leak, or dirty MAF. Needs more details man..

Hard to say, check vac lines, check batt ground like Maynard said. Mine was doing this for a while, but I was throwing a code, a bad o2 sensor. Replaced that, and its been fine since.

the car starts a little ruff but it starts nonetheless. it idls fine and when i go at low speed its ok. but if i go for WOT then it stumbles bad its kinda like when you have a plug foul out but the engine shuts down then comes back to life. i cheack the vac lines everything fine there.
I was thinking maybe my Accel coils or something like that.

Did you check your belt to make sure it isnt slipping? Check your coils, wires, etc.
And check your cables.
