Amid all the crap coming out of the US media (and gov.) these days...whether it be that new flight 93 movie, or that video the dept. of defense released a couple days ago showing (apparently) a plane hitting the pentagon...I suggest that everyone (especially those directly south of me) inform themselves on the actual events of 9/11 instead of consuming the corporate agenda driven media as though it is God's truth.

Oh, and I'm no conspiracy theorist, I would love to believe there's nothing shady going on here...unfortunately the evidence points to the contrary (and there's a lot of it)

You Know its upsetting that we have to trust Our Lives and complete being on a bunch of liars and cheats all polititians are full of **** and for the most part are all for there own agendas. The war is crap. Our leadership Sucks, and our votes dont even count. I love My Country but I hate our Politics.

And I'm supposed to believe that this conspiracy theory is any more truthful?

I was in NYC in October 2001, in DC that december, and I live not even 40 minutes from Shanksville. Having been at the locations immediately after that tragic day and seeing what I did makes me ENRAGED when I read this conspiracy crap about it. That day is what it was, a cowardly attack on innocent civilians by extremist. I, and others may not agree with all of the actions taken by this GREAT country of ours since then but I'll support those with the job it is to right this wrong.

Not trying to start any battles here Paul, just making sure people aren't confusing FOX, CNN, ABC, CBS and the other major news networks with the truth.

Do you not find it strange that the CIA was responsible for the training of Bin Ladin himself? It's not a conspiracy, it's the truth (as in the government admits to it).

It's important for people to inform themselves about issues. That's my main point. If you or anyone else is able to look at all the information presented (and I actually mean, look at it, don't just brush it off as conspiracy) and make your own decision about it, good!

I think this doesn't have to turn into a flamewar or anything childish. There's no reason there can't be a mature and intelligent debate about this. And just in case you think I'm talking out my ass, I'm in my last year of a combined honours program in Political Science and Global Studies. I've been studying all of this since it happened (and before).

i am big into conspiracy theories but i never really thought about 911 as one. i think everyone does just take what the media feeds us about this particular event, i know i have. but there are a lot of questions that do need to be answered and why there arent any just doesnt make any sense.:shrug: . i really do want the gov't to come out and put these theories to rest but why have they not? i am not agreeing with the conspiracy theory im just saying that some things do need answers.:flag: :flag: :flag: GOD BLESS THE TROOPS whether you agree or disagree:flag:

I aint saying conspiracy or not... but the truth is that this is a great nation but I dont agree with some of the political agendas in our country. And we need to make alot of changes that all. And it is our duty as citizen of this great nation to question and make our voices heard. If there are questions that need to be anwsered then our government has an obligation to anwser them..And yes I am a former MARINE and yes I do bleed red white and blue. But there is alot of theories and there will always be theories. Our leadership needs a change of direction and we need to get out of a place we dont understand. We already made this mistake 30 yrs ago we called it vietnam today we call it Iraq.

Support our Troop it isnt there fault. They love their country and we should pay them the respect they deserve. Hoorah:flag:

:OT: Had anyone been to the twin towers before 9/11? I remember there was a sign there that said something about not throwing change (coins) over the top of the building. I also remember seeing the JFK air craft carrier in the bay from the top of the tower. It was a really nice view.

A plain hit the pentagon. Oh my god! There is a security camera facing a security check point! That's really odd that you would use a security camera to film a securty checkpoint. Cover up! Cover up!

If you think educating yourself about something is only hearing one side of it, then you're just as bad as those you condemn. This movie has been torn apart so many times by amateur bloggers its worth nothing more then a novelty. This is just one site. If you do 15 minutes of Googling you can turn up dozens more.

I'm more then willing to entertain outlandish theories if they have the facts to back them up. This movie is sorely lacking and in some places outright lies. For that matter, it was created by amateurs in college, some of whom didn't finish their degrees.

I love when they reference the B-52 crash in 1945 etc... but B-52s weren't around until 1946! If this guy can't even get the basics down, I'm gonna have a hard time with this theory.

Remove your tin foil hats, please.

there are faults in both stories..neither one is goin to absolutely correct but people should gather information for themselves and then decide. they should not just go one what the gov't tells them or what this guy from loose change says. get info and make your own opinions because thats all we will ever have is opinions.:flag:

Saying it is pointless is pretty ignorant...I must say. Do you really think we should believe everything the Bush administration tells us? I could point to any numbers of **** ups where they told a blatant lie as if it was the truth. Oh yeah...why are we in Iraq?

That is not the logic. It's more like this. "America is under attack, we must now find someone to flex our muscles against, to show the world what our military is made of". This is not new rhetoric. What do you think the Gulf War was? It was merely an attempt to make up for Vietnam. Anyone ever heard of Robert Mcnamara?

This time it's much more complicated. The Vice President owns a substantial stake of Haliburton and the Bush family is heavily invested in the Carlyle group. I didn't even mention oil. Has nobody ever heard of a little thing called 'conflict of interest'?

Here are some FACTS:

1) The US government was responsible for removal of the pro-socialist government of Afghanistan during the 1980s. The CIA trained Osama Bin Laden and funneled money into the Taleban and was directly responsible for their rise to power. Go get a history book. it's all there.

2) The US governement IGNORED over ten warnings that an attack on US soil was imminent

3) F16s failed to scramble on Semptember 11th in time to take out the planes. They had plenty of time to atleast get to the airliners, let alone shoot them down. This didn't happen.

4) The world trade center towers were built to withstand plane attacks and massive fires. Jet fuel could not possibly reach the temperatures necessary to take down the towers (this has been confirmed many, many times) and it IS NOT responsible for the subsequent explosions within the towers. Especially the ones no where near the planes.

5) George Bush would not allow the 9/11 commission to tape his testimony. And he had to have his crony rice there with him to make sure he didn't do anything even more stupid. What's to hide?

6) The final report was heavily censored. again, what's to hide if there's no conspiracy?
