Well judging by those track times if your friend can floor his car, then push in the clutch, then shifted to 2nd then release the clutch, then floor it again.(and repeat steps for 3rd and 4th gear) In that exact order, he is gonna blow your doors off!.

just curious, it wont make much difference but are both coupes? or both convertibles? because if you have a coupe and he has a convertible that's a plus for you

Both coupes...

Now WhiteDevil... he's gonna "Blow my doors off"? I mean, not to be a dick or anything, but his car is sort of fallling apart, wouldn't I at least be able to keep up pretty good, lose by maybe a car length or so?

Well that could be a factor if it is all ****ed up, and hasnt been well taken care of, but thats a factor that is hard to calculate. I have always just toyed with newer V6s who seem to have the assumtion that they can hang. I went 14.8 stock with my GT so that would have easily handled your car.

Yeah guys...

It won't be a big v6 stomping..... It will be within 3 carlengths. 99 and up v6 cars are not dogs like the previous years and sn95 5.0's are the slowest ones made.

His car has run high 15's at the track and I can promise you that the guy with the gt won't get into the 14's. Do you guys have any idea how close of a race 2 15 second cars on the street is....

I've seen tons of people on this site not get out of the mid 15's with mods.....Thats ****ing sad

I used to race my friends 00' V6 vert. We were both stock will autos. All I had was a shift kit which actually made me slower until I got gears. I went 14.9 will just CAI, gears and some exhaust. The 5.0 just have too much torque. HP is about the same. If he can't drive you could beat him.
