driving down the interstate....all of a sudden, go to give it gas....nothing, at all....have power i think....windows go down....lol...power locks etc....check engine light and alternator light were on....what u guys think?....too loud to hear if the fuel pump kicked on, after the few attempts at starting it

I had a loose connection on my coil and it shut off on me.I would check for fuelpump,then coil,dist. And so on.Don't give up you'll find it.

The checklist should get you fixed up. First thing I do is listen for the fuel pump to prime ( it's a given that there is gas in the tank, just ask CMA). If it primes (does not continue to run) then I mat the gas pedal and crank it. If that don't work I hook it to the dump truck and tow it to the shop! (Just kidding) do the checklist, it will fix you up.

well, before I start the checklist I put my code reader on it...67 and 85....I read a few post on them, butmaybe I'll just start the checklist

yes it did....I'm actually gonna start with the ignition switch....I bought it 2 years ago and never put it in

Those codes aren't really anything to worry about.

67 usually if clutch not pushed in during code read. Code 85 is Charcoal canister
