Sorry but tuning questions

Well damn me for just having LSx friends that drive GM and me being the stang guy. I'm trying to figure out things about this computers.

I'm not stupid enough those this thread may make it out to be. But my tuner is using Diablo and i'm thinking of SCT.

From my undrstand its pretty simple to tune with these things as long as your have a wide band? Now i'm not sure about this but you can have the person you buy your tuner from give u a tune? I'm running a full exhaust and D1 sc procharger at 10psi. So i can have a tune ready to go for that?

Let me know please cause i'd like to get this done soon.

I know diablo does mail order/internet tuning. I'm pretty sure SCT does as well. Personaly I would go with whatever tuner your shop of choice is using. You can tune it on the street with a wideband if you like. I'm not sure how much tuning experience you have, but somebody that does it every day for a living usually has a pretty good handle on that sort of thing. To answer your question, you should be able to get a baseline tune from SCT programmed into your handheld, but I wouldn't recommend it for max power/longevity. Sometimes you can send back with datalogging so they can refine the tune.
