I have the FRPP stinger style axelback system and will be purchasing more exhuast components either an O/R H or X pipe from PYPES performance. I know they make both but if I plan to also do the BBK tuned shorty headers which style should I go with H or X for sound quality?

If you get Off-road pipe of any kind you'll need to get a chambered muffler if you don't like loud. If you like loud you will be fine with a straight through type muffler (SLP/Pypes Violator).

I have an O/R H and Pypes Violator Axle Backs and absolutely LOVE it. I'll get vid up soon (hopefully tomorrow).

I don't know about the "race car" description of the X, but I will tell you that having both that the X seems to make the exhaust sound high pitched.

Under normal driving with the H you would tend to notice it being loudest at 2200-2400 where as with the X it will be up in the 2800-3000 range.

For the Price of either, you really could not go wrong even if you had to replace it.
