Every time I turn off my engine, immediately after I hear this SHHHH sound that happens for about 1 second longer and then stops. It's almost like something is moving with the rotation of the engine and after the engine stops it keeps spinning or something for 1 more second. It's pretty noticable.

Anyone else have this?

Normal. I believe it's something to do with the purging of some canister.

Cool... Glad it's nothing to worry about. I wonder if it's the coolant coming to a stop or something? It almost sounds like it could be liquid. I got worried because I was near another Mustang and when they turned the engine off I didn't couldn't really hear it, but I was about 10 feet away from it maybe that's why.

My buddy said the same thing. In fact, if he holds the throttle open with his foot when he shuts the engine off, it doesn't make the sound.

Mine does it too. I think they all do it. It's no big deal. I kind of like it
