Hey all, I'm new to these forums. I've been driving a 65 coupe I restored 4yrs back-without a radio. So after being spoiled by all my friends cars that do have radios, I've decided that its time for change. I've always been meaning to put in a radio but there was always something else that needed attention and eventually I just got used to the no radio idea. So my question is this:
The cars already loud with all the engine vibrations, so what kind of sound deadening materials do you guys suggest? Also if anyone has any experience in putting the stuff in that'd be great. I've personally done all the car gut work but I've never put in any sound systems or sound deadening stuff before. Everyone tells me it's easy, but no one can personally say that it's easy from experience. If anyone has any system suggestions that'd be great too.
So to reinterate -
thx all
