In a previous post I learned that my noisy tappets on my Roush 342R engine are a feature of an hydraulic roller cam + roller rockers. The 5.0 mustang Cobra of 94/95 used factory dual layer rocker covers with a sound deadening epoxy material to quieten down the rattling of the roller rockers. I would like to diminsh the noise of my roller rockers.
I live outside the U.S and don't have easy access to a Ford dealership to attempt to purchase the factory cobra covers (if they are stil available - I can't see them listed in the FRPP catalogue)
Can anybody suggest a source for factory or aftermarket sound deadening rocker covers to suit 5.0 AFR heads and roller rockers please ?
