Who's going the south route to meet up with the Mustang Roundup? Just wondering what kind of showing we'll have to cruise over there. I've been on the cruises before and they are a blast, but I'll be bringing my wife and I dont know if she can stand the loudness for the 5 hours it would take round trip up to the ferry and what-not.

Who's going around south?

Are you referring to the Olympia route to the Shelton Dragstrip on the 13th?

Yeah I think he is, I'm thinking about it..... The drive the olympia way isnt anything special but otherwise taking the ferry and all that is a long drive

I've never been to Shelton, but wouldn't the Narrows Bridge route be quicker and shorter?

To shelton that way is probably about 10 minutes longer maybe. I drive that way more since I go to my friends lake place all the time thats like 15 minutes north of shelton. I would say it is a much better drive than through Olympia. Thats cool the cruise is out that way this year, after hanging out at the track in shelton I'll get to hang out at the lake all weekend

Yeah, the Olympia / Narrows way (either is fine) is what I'm referring to. Just want to make sure theres more than a few cars going that way before I decide not to go up north and do the ferry thing.

I'm still undecided. I really like the cruise part but not the bottleneck of dealing with the ferry. I also enjoy seeing all the Stangs sitting in the lot at BCC and watching them leave but its seems like a waste to drive all the way up there and then turn around and come back.

It wouldn't be a cruise if you didn't actually participate in the cruise

Thats whats tearing me apart. I want to cruise with a bunch of other Mustangs, no matter the year. I know its a waste of gas and may be shorter to just go to Shelton via the south route but I'm not participating in this to save gas or time! Heck, I'm taking off work for this! I want to see and hear allot of other Mustangs I dont normally see day to day.
fyi - I think theres a group leaving KK in Puyallup around 7am +/-.

If I were down south I would avoid ferries.

But for those who have to take the ferry its going to a cool sight having all these Mustangs on the same boat.

I haven't seen much of an organized interest anyway, I think I've convinced the wife that she won't be deaf if we go the long way around.

^^^ Just leave now, park in the lot, sleep in your car. You'll be the first one there.

Or you could leave early enough to meet us at Barlee's and hit the 9:20 ferry.

For the record the Ferry was a piece of cake, we got right on. Now the bad part..................all the Mustangs car alarms went off on the boat. LOL
Boat was a POS crap and shook the car thinking they where being towed.

Good times.
