Spacers? needed after lowering?

I was wondering how many of you that have lowered yer stang found it necessary to also add spacers. Does lowering alone look good (1.25" front, 1" rear approx.)? Are spacers necessary? Are spacers advised? I have been told they make alignment difficult and cause additional wear on your tires. True?

Sorry for the multitude of questions (and posts). I am an excited stang owner and looking into various mods, wallet permitting of course.

Thanks.

You don't need spacers. I wouldn't put spacers up front anyways. wouldn't look right. I have 17x9's all the way around on my 04 GT lowered 1.5". I am thinking of putting an 1" spacer on the back just for looks to make it look like a 10" width. But you don't NEED them unless you put to wide of a rim up front with a bad offset.

I'm in Albany (actually Lee County). My car's lowered about what you posted. If you want to see it or have any questions, just drop me a line. Also, check out the site in my signature. It's a new site just starting up. :nice:
