I know this topic has been beaten to death, but here goes anyway.

I am sort of leaning toward the Auto Lite 764 plugs after what I have
read here on them.
I have a stock 1999 GT with no mods yet, but all I am planning is a cold air
and exaust anyway, so will I be OK with that ?

I have some experience working on cars but none with newer Mustangs.

I have read the threads dealing wit it here and seen the pics on the Bullit
forum also, so I think I can doit, but am kind of worried about stripping the plug sockets.

So, will my plugs be a good choice, and any tips that I need to know ?

Thanks,

Scott

use the 764's they are fine. just make sure you do it with the motor cold, if you search around i have a massive post covering every step to follow, if you want i will post it again. just go slow and dont bully it and you will be fine.

bdcardnial,

Thanks for the input, and yes I have seen that thread of yours.

I just got back from Auto Zone and they had the AutoLite AP764
plugs on sale. They were the same as the 764 ones except they
have a Platinum element in them.
I figured that the platinum insert couldn't hurt, and the price was right.

Thanks again,

Scott
