OK, this is the first time Im gonna turn a wrench since my finger was cut off so where better to start then the 8 lil candles that fire it all up? So I take out #5 Plug first because I noticed a small coolant leak on that side of the engine at the front of the intake (3rd time btw) and its grey and ashen, I move over and remove #1 plug and it looks the same grey and ashen looking, so.. is this grey look caused by coolant leakage or injector cleaner or what would it signify Last time I changed the plugs was Oct. and they were white.

The 'normal' color for spark plugs is brown to grayish-tan color.

If you were getting coolant in there, I think they would be more white

I went ahead and changed the plugs ,Autolte 3924s, and I cracked one while tightening it But at least Im able to use the hand pretty good I recently used some injector cleaner but I thought that would make your plugs red, or was that octane boost I forget.

The octane boosters usually give them that radical orange color.

I agree, I think the coolant is supposed to 'wash' the porcelain down.
