i hear that a smaller gap is better for headswapped cars due to the added compression. i was told around .04" or slightly higher is good instead of my .054 now. what do you all think?

also, i picked up some regular copper autolite 764's. is this ok? or should i switch to a colder plug? thanks!

the 764's are fine for that. and the .04 gap sounds about right as well.

*UPDATE*

ok, i regapped them to roughly .042. i drove the car and immediatly felt a difference. the car doesnt hesitate anymore when i get on it. the power comes on smoother than before. and i actually feel more torque all around. may be suttle, but i honestly feel it and the car sounds and runs healthier now.

copper plugs are very reliable, they last for awhile.
