What wires do you guy suggest? Is there a difference in the sizes? I have seen 9mm and 8mm for sale. Thanks for the help!

MSD makes a great set of wires. They are a little more expensive than FRPP but are higher quality. I ordered mine out of Summit for around 60 bucks.

The FRPP wires fit like crap. I don't like them at all. Go for either MSD or LiveWires. I have the LiveWires and the look and quality is top notch. They are a little pricier though.

So you guys would not recommend the FRPP 9 mm wires? I was about to order them from Jegs for 40 bucks but I guess I might reconsider.

I ordered the FMS wires and returned them to Summit because they didn't fit very well and they sent me two of the same wire. They upgraded me to Taylor wires at no extra charge and they fit great!
I'd like to throw my vote, if I can still be a citizen without actually owning a Mustang, toward <a href="http://www.magnecor.com/magnecor1/main.htm">Magnecor</a>. They seem to be on more than thier fair share of cars in Grassroots Motorsports, have good RF/EM interference suppression, and I always like a site that gives a bunch of tech on their, and others, products. Have a look at the Electrosport line. They also make wires for almost anything, including my old ass Volvo, which is pretty cool in my book.

Livewires is what I am running. They are the best I have ever saw. Great quality, but are alittle pricey.

I have MSD's and they are very good. It would be nice if they were all about an inch longer, its a tight fit, but I guess I'm just nitpicking, they are really good wires.

Where did yens buy the livewires from? I was under the impression different wires really don't differ very much so I figured i'd get the blue FRPP ones for only 40 bucks from Jegs.

Didn't take it on a dyno so I can't tell for sure. I did a bunch of other mods with the ignition so I won't ever know.

My ford racing fit fine, look good, and are great wires. I still perfer TAYLOR but the FMS are nice as well. Iv read alot about it and seen tests, all wires are the same, wires dont do much but they are a important key to your igntion, just dont get super cheap ones and dont waste your money on real expencive ones. Just get Taylor's or FMS or the regular MSD.
my FMS ones fit fine, dont go near the header etc, they are a bit long but long is better then short.

I have the FMS wires now, and they are sooo long. I had to snake them all over the place to take up the slack. This summer I'm gonna get some livewires ones. I heard from a couple people in the Corral who don't like MSD wires. I don't remember why, I think it may be becuase of noise problems.

I got the FMS wires... Black... I just resized them since there universal for the 5.0 and 5.8.... very easy to do took me 30 minutes.... Fit great and work good...
