spark plugs for blown motor (kenne bell)

i have an 02 gt, and i am planning on going kenne bell. what plugs should i use? are there any other upgrades i should make before the 1.7 goes on? thanks guys

they will cause the blower to turn at a lower speed and cost you HP.

ok, well pulleys will be taken care of. i have searched every autopart store in my area (autozone, pep boys, kregan) and no one has the tr-6 splugs. i went to the ngk web site, and they dont list them for my car either. where can i find them? any other suggestions for the 1.7 kenne bell?

I think the NGK TR-6 plugs are listed for use in the 04 Cobra on the NGK site. Kenne Bell suggested using the TR-6 plugs when i contacted their tech support. Try going to sparkplugs.com. I ordered my plugs from rockauto.com

They recommend 1 heat range lower than a stock plug gaped at 25-35 thousands.

you could also use BR7EF NGK's...they are 2 steps colder.

I use denso T20EPR-U u-groove plugs,these are the plugs KB recommends(check there website).if you do a search a lot of people have a missing at idle problem with the ngk plugs.I have no driveability problem with the denso's

you could also use BR7EF NGK's...they are 2 steps colder.

these are a very good plug overlooked at times. when you run alot of boost consider these.

At firsrt I used the NGK BR7EF's on my vortech setup. My autozone doesn't carry NGK, but if you go to the counter and tell them to cross-reference them, there's some champion ones that I got and they work just as good as the NGK's. Sorry I forgot the part number though. (They can probably cross-reference the TR-6's too)
