Spark Plugs?

I just need to know what spark plugs are best for my set up? copper? platinum? Brand name? What kind? Also, what should i gap them to?

Im about to sell my car so i dont need a expensive brand name or the best plug, just something that is safe and will do the trick.

Autolite 24's (copper) gapped to .054".

EDIT: Woops, didn't see the blower in your sig. I think blower guys gap their plugs to .035" or so, and they use one heat range colder.

Yeah you dont need any more than those autolites. Lower the gap to like .030 or .035

Some cars require a hot plug. This type of plug is designed with a ceramic insert that has a smaller contact area with the metal part of the plug. This reduces the heat transfer from the ceramic, making it run hotter and thus burn away more deposits. Cold plugs are designed with more contact area, so they run cooler.

Ok, thanks alot for the help. So when i go to the store do i just have to ask for the autolite 24's or do i need to specify a cold plug?

I really don't know for sure, I've never had a supercharger. I don't wanna give you any bad information, but I'm sure the 24's will work fine. Hopefully some S/C guys will chime in with what they run.

Just ask for 8 Autolite 24's. If the guy behind the counter is not clueless, it should be all you need to say.

Some guys will ask you what car you have and then try to sell you a different plug..or even a Bosch Platnium with 60 electrodes.

never run platinums on a boosted car, or with nitrous. Its a very bad idea.

I like NGK v-power plugs, the copper ones.
