spark setting

Hello all,
I have a really newbie question here. I have a 05 Mustang GT SCT tuner and C&L with no muffles.If I set the spark to the max on all RPM range 0-2000 -14 Spark - is the only option that I have no + and say 2000-4000 -8 4000-8000 -4. What would it be doing to this car?

Generally speaking, negative numbers are pulling timing, not advancing it. Zero would be the furthest advanced timing. Does the SCT manual say they are the other way around?

No the Sct manual does not say.

so with that being said,going + would be advancing the spark right?

the negitive numbers are pulling spark timming out of the tune. leave them at 0 or if it allows you a positive number to advance the timming.

pulling timing will reduce power.

BTW we do not need two threads on this.
