Spark wires problem…

Me and my friend can not figure out what is wrong with his car… Everything is sounds good no miss firing the car runs strong but when we touch the spark plug wires we get shock or even if I what to change the timing on the car I not able to do with out using a rag on top of the distributor because it also shocks me…

If you guys have any idea what could be the problem, please let me know before it turns into something really bad..

Uh....it sounds like you need to replace the sparkplug wires lol. Before you do, press down on all the boots to be sure they are seated on the dizzy...but chances are....the wires are bad.

First off, check all your ground points. But sounds like one of the insulators are bad on the plug wire. Start the car at night and check with no lights on and see if you see any arcing anywhere. Sounds silly, but would tell you right where the problem is.

Maybe some dollor store wires??? Like autozone brand crap...

the wires that the car has a Ford Raceing..i going to try all those things that you guys told me to do..
