hello,

i just installed a 1300e JL Audio amp with 2 12 inch W0. they are old but still hit nice. i installed the system and it was working great for a month or so, and all of a sudden all of my interior speakers failed. the radio works, the subs still hit, but the interiors dont work. i checked all the connections to the radio, and checked all the fuses. any ideas of whats going on.

What year/make car? What factory audio system? Mach 460 has amps and so does the Mach 1000 (or whatever) ... Do you have an aftermarket head unit or factory? .....

It might just be the safety on the amp. When it cools down do the speakers come back on?...I know on one of my amps, if the temp gets a lil high, there's a standard 1 minute cooling time (one minute is all you have to fix your system in our contests lol) so it was an auto disqualification for me!!

Are your amps mounted up-side down? Some amps are picky about that,...

If none of the speakers are working there could be a few things.

I am not sure if you are running stock Mach 460 or aftermarket stuff, so I'll try to just give ideas.

1. Radio died, but since your subs work, prob not likely.
2. Pre-Amp lead to the Amp is bad, got disconnected, cut, etc. - Check pre-amp/RCA cables.
3. Amp does not have power. - Check power at amp.
4. Amp's internal fuse or power fuse blew. Check Power at amp.
5. Amp has died...buy a new one.
6. All your speakers blew.

LEt me know how things are setup and I could probably help more.
