I've gotta upgrade the stock stuff in my 93, front speakers are garbage and the rears just arent cuttin it. Just trying to get some recommendations from you guys before i go to buy. I have a newer pioneer cd player w/50x4 peak & like 22rms, the car has dumps on it so its pretty loud inside and im looking for a set of speakers i dont really have to put an amp on but will play pretty loud w/o distorting. I've been looking at Infinity, Polk dBs and Alpine but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks in advance for any advice

I dont know your price range but I would definately look at the Infinity Kappas. I used them and still have them now( in my garage) and i thought the clarity was spectacular, but then again i was running them off an amp but im pretty sure you'll be just fine running them off the head unit. I would also recommend the alpine type r speakers. Those IMO are pretty decent. Are you looking for an amp to?
