Fellow stangers,
my 5.0's, stereo is by far the worse i have ever heard.... for one i dont think my antenna is hooked up but besides that the speakers have no guts.....
The head unit is a cheapo aftermarket cd player......i do not know its watts or rms, r anything, but obviously is either not enough power or the stockers are beyond blown....but judging from other parts on the car, seats, carpets, headliner etc...i dont think they should be that bad... i ant hear anything unless its max(and thats at idle)
do i just need some new door upgrades(im not into anything major audio for this car). or do you think it is my head unit not pumping enough?

If you just want it to be louder and don't care about anything else, upgrade the back speakers.

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

I would use this as an opportunity to go balls in and replace everything, but that's just me

5x7 but 6x8 fits fine.

i actually took my buddys take-offs from his 98 f150. they sound much much better than stock and the factory ford speaker connection hooks right up!
