Has anyone tried to drill out small holes in the scoop to get more air?

I've never taken the blanket off but I don't believe there is actually a hole under the scoop. Come to think of it I'm positive because I've seen pictures of the hood with the scoop off and there is no hole, the old V6 hoods were the same as the GT but didn't have the tall scoop.

Come to think of it, do the 2000 GTs even have the scoop like the new GTs? I know mine has a grill in the scoop, not a honeycomb like the side scoops or the V6 style hood.

EDIT: looks like I don't even know my own car, went out and stuck a pencil in the scoop and it doesn't go all the way through. My eyes must be going

I was wondering if anyone ever did take the honeycomb plastic off the hood scoop and dremeled through the hood to make it an active hood scope.

I've debated the idea, but KNOW i couldn't do it the way i want to, and would end up buying a new hood but let me know if any of u guys did this

adds 10rwhp, maybe 20 if you use a torch and cut a hole where the intake is(ricer style)
