Spec Stage 1 Clutch Problem

So I put a new Stage 1 clutch in my convertible over the weekend...with a new FMS flywheel. Get it all back together and the pressure plate was just barely hitting the bellhousing. Had to take it all back apart and grind the bell less than an 1/8 inch where it was making contact.

Anyone ever have this happen. I was pretty pissed off.... what a waste of time. I love the SPEC clutches too... was a little dissappointed.

Stock Bellhousing and dust shield... that's why I was frustrated... sittin there going over everything in my mind going..."How did I F this up...it's impossible..."

New motor is just about finished. Had to take it to a machine shop to get the intake fitted. Would not line up with my heads because they've been milled. Gona pick it up this week, and have it in the car running in a couple weeks. Can't wait!!! She's gonna rip. :SNSign:
