Well im finally getting the tranny rebuilt and im to lazy to do it but my mechanic wants to put a spec stage 2 clutch in. Is that a good clutch to get keep in mind im running spray. :SNSign:

everyone i know running a spec clutch is very pleased. I was going to have a spec, but mt mechanic gave me a centerforce.

I think it is a hit or miss with SPEC. A lot of people on here do not like them at all, but then there are a few that do. very few from what I see. I would suggest a centerforce or mcleod.

From what I hear, once you break the SPEC in, it is the best clutch in the world. I think it has a longer break-in period than most, though. I say go for it

Spec suck. Its hit and miss. Some people are extremely happy with it, and some people aren't. Do search, and dicide for yourself.

I myself would recommend Centerforce DD, Kingcobra, or Macleord(SP?)

I had a spec.. not sure if it was 1 or 2...I have a spec 3 now and love it!

spec is a good clutch. but IMHO all the clutches are pretty good. it's the installers that suck.

you know how many hacks just impact gun the pressure plate to the flywheel. then you wonder why the dam thing chatters
