speed cal install?

Let me give you a few tips. I just did a speedcal install on my brothers 03GT using that link above. When you get to step 8, you will need to remove the wires out of the black housing. The wires slide out of the back. Get a small jeweler's style flat-blade screwdriver. Stick the screwdriver inbetween the two wires. Start at the very top of one wire, and slide the screwdriver down the wire until you feel a "bump". This means you hit the plastic tab that holds the wire in place. The plastic tab is at a 45* angle, pushing against the wire. What you need to do is get the screwdriver inbetween the tab and the wire. Once you bend the plastic tab enough, the wire will slide out of the back of the connector very easily. Do the same for the second wire. Both tabs are inbetween the wires, pointing outwards.

**NOTE** the plastic tab can bend easily, and be broken even easier. Once you hit the tab with the screwdriver, it will not take much force to bend the tab. It's nice, not necessary however, to have someone pulling on the chosen wire, while you hold the connector and bend the tab.

That is a crappy pictorial representation of what I am talking about. The two \ & / represent the plastic tabs, and the lines going down represent the wires. Ignore the periods; I had to use those because STANGNET won't let me put double spaces inbetween characters!

I took me 1/2 hour to get the wires out. Mostly because the directions are crappy, and I didn't understand what was going on.
