Speed in bottom of fourth gear in stock 95gt..

I was racing someone and backed off around the bottom of 4th.. How fast is that? I didnt look down at the speedo.

I'm pretty sure it was a VW r32 (240hp v6) and I got him pretty good. not bad for a stock car (except I bumped my timing to 15 and ran 91 octane)

so anyone know what mph that is about? Full pedal through each gear except first, cause i wasnt sure if he wanted to race..

probably around 100 mph

With stock gears maxing out third into fourth I think the speed would be about 100 mph. I read a test on a mustang with 2.73's and the top speed in 3rd was like 108! So with 3.08's or 3.27's the speed would probably be around the 100 mark.

I cross the line in 3rd with 2.73s and I am at 100mph.

well i have a 4.10 and i max out at about 5500rpms at about 100mph. im guessin with a stock 2.73 (gotta tell us what gear you have) would probably be around 125ish. maybe a few higher. how can you not look down before you start slowin down. im always freaked when goin that fast so i always check

i had 3:08's stock, top of 4th was around 125. 3rd, i dont know
