So I placed an order with this company for a cobra rear end with 3.73 gears, 31 spline axles and paid the extra money to have it assembled by them. Ken, the sales rep said to be patient as this can become a lengthy process. I asked how long to which he replied about 3 months. I was okay with that. Well here we are now going past 7 months and this guy won't answer any of my emails or phone calls. Anyone else dealt with this company? I've even said to him to scratch the install and just send me the assembly and parts since his "tech shop" is so backed up. Nothing. Any insight or ways of getting ahold of him would be great as he has $2100 of my money.

I thought the name sounded familiar...and not in a good way. I ran a search on "Speedconcepts" just in this subforum and it doesn't look like they're very popular from the few threads about them...

The fact that the sales rep said "to be patient as this can become a lengthy process" might've been a red flag for me.

How did you pay? Do you have an expected delivery date from them?

I paid via credit card. He told me to follow the website which, by all accounts, was updated promptly except when it "supposedly" arrived at the tech facility for the gears and components to be assembled into the rear end housing. After that, it was "oh they're backed up". " I tried calling the manager and says he will get on it as soon as possible". "I have put your order ahead of everyone else's" etc...Just curious if anyone else here has had any issues in terms of how long they received their order from this con-man. Coming up on 8 months for something I ordered back in January is beyond lunacy. Absolute lunacy. He won't return any of my emails either. I find it ironic how his website says this:
FRAUD
All attempts to purchase merchandise from us in a fraudulent manner will be reported to your local authorities including all Federal agencies.
That's calling the kettle black, don't you think? Anyone reading this should stay away from this ******* by all costs!

I think it would be worth asking them for a firm date of delivery, if they cannot give you that and or miss the date I would talk to the CC company about reversing the charges. Shops need to take responsibility for their orders.

Craziness! Contact your credit card company and get your money back now, I would not even trust them to assemble it right. Any problem down the line would probably start the whole process over again.

Yeah, I already disputed the charge and got that going now. Just was curious if anyone on here ordered a rear end from this tool and if so, how long did it take to receive. Should've stuck with my gut and ordered from MPSautosalvage. Never had issues with them.
