Is anyone using white face gauges from SpeedHut.com? How is the quality of the gauges? How do they light up at night? I am thinking about buying these http://www.speedhut.com/el_detail.asp?catagory=FORD&auto_number=77&bhcp=1. I like that you can customize them however you want, but at almost a $100 I don’t want to get some crappy gauges. Post pictures if you guys got them.

I'm buying some along with a bezel that I will paint black. I'll get them in about 2 weeks so I'll post about how well they work and how hard they were to install if you can wait. I put the Mac ones in last weekend and they look great during the day but absolutely brutal at night.

Cheers

dont waste ur money on those, i got mine off ebay for $20 shipped and they work perfect. they were all white and put a black bezel over them so they dont look all white, just the guage part is white...mine have a blue ring in the middle, but u can find them with just the blue numbers. now if ur looking for custom flames or somthing onm ur guages then thats a different story.

I'd love to take credit for it, but I got the idea from BlackFox5.0.

As far as the cheapo gauges go, I want gauges that have there own light source and that come in KPH. The Mac gauges looked so bad at night that they scared me off of relying on the stock dash lighting.

I'm glad that the less expensive ones worked for blkstangman88 though.

Cheers

my guages do light up with there own power, ive unplugged all the stock bulbs except for a few for like my milages ect.......they can get ALOT brighter blue in person but i had to turn them down, sort of hurt my eyes, and ive had them for over 2years with no problem.

Yeah, I can also vouch for the ebay ones. Electroluminescent lighting of their own. All you do is tap into power..it's really simple and I LOVE Them for $30 I'd do it for $60 now.

Cool. If I didn't need them in KPH, i'd get mine off of Ebay, but I haven't seen any that come in Kilometers per hour.

We'll there you go curse. It looks like the only possible choice is to do what blkstangman88 did.

I've already bought mine so the info is not much use to me. PM me if your still curious as to how well they work. I'm still excited about them. I've got a Seven Up Logo on the tach that should look cool.
