Speedo and tach dead

Hey guys I have a 1994 gt convertible. I did a dash over lay and now my speedo and tach do not work I also replaced the odometer gear which does work. All fuses are good. Any one else have this problem

Have you checked for codes? Are you sure the wiring is 100% and the printed circuit on the back of the cluster is 100%?

As far as I can see i had to remove the needles for the glow overlay

And then put everything together and they both dont work

So did you so the work with the instrument cluster in the car?

I put on a over lay that required removing the needles

Well now you have an isssue....
You likely don't have the electrical connector pushed in all the way or a pin has slipped out, as far as the speedometer that is likely not pushed all the way on either.
You can't be vague when taking about tech issues online, we don't have crystal balls.....I mean some here may think they have brass balls and a couple I think actually do but.....you know......

Was not trying be vague im in ny working at a dispensary. Lol

Ahhhh....OK, got any openings?......asking for a friend
Anyway, yeah thats what I would do is check those connections behind the cluster, check for loose pins at the connector.
