Speedo cluster problem!

Cluster fuse schedule

There are multiple fuses to the Cluster. WHICH one is blowing as this will affect how to attack.

Has any radio or custom audio work been done? Some of the cluster fuses are shared with the radio. If you want a quick test to start things off, disconnect the radio and retest. If the fuse does not blow, we now have a good idea where the problem is.

If not, some additional testing will be needed. A VOM meter will be required. Some detailed tests will need to be done and the results posted.

Recap of the cluster fueses found by looking at the wiring diagrams.

I/P-8(20a) - Hot at all times
C228 Main light switch
C226 Clock
C250 cluster
C257 Radio
C232 DLC

For I/P-15(10a) - Hot in start/run
C220 Warning chime module
C250 cluster
C251 cluster
C277 Air bag
C200 low engine oil

For I/P-18(20a) - Hot in start/run. This is not likely as powers CCRM.

you pinched a harness. find out what wires based on the fuse blowing and you will probably have to pull the dash back a bit and repair the pinched harness
