I am looking for some ideas on how to spend some money in regards to the suspension, springs, etc. on the fox I got last week.

This car will be a weekend toy, driven on the nice sunny days with an occasional romp to impress my 5 year old! I am doing a 5-lug conversion with 18 chrome bullitts and while I am in there I figured I would change change some suspension components.

Any ideas on lowering springs/(shocks&struts) combo? I am not into cornering too much, I am more concerned with with traction and ride quality. Also is there a kit to replace all those bushings that are now close to 18 years old? Will it make a big difference?

If you have any other ideas of things I should do while I have this thing apart, please let me know.

Thanks

For springs, I would probably do the Eibach pro-kit. Ive got some Maxspeeds on my car and reall like them, but they provide nearly 2" of drop. I also used the KYB shocks/struts that I got on ebay for ~$140 for the set of 4. The car really rides a lot better than it did with the worn out stockers. I also used the Energy Supsension srping isolators, they make complete bushing kits for our cars also. Hopw that helps.....
