Can anybody post some pics or direct me to an article on the difference between a '66 spindle and a '70 spindle. I bought some '70 spindles to put on my '66 but I don't think that's what I got. I can't compare because im converting it from Drum brakes. I know the '70 spindles are larger, but I don't have any measurements as to how much.

Alright, for beginners, it has been disputed that '68-'73 mustang spindles and Granada’s have geometry differences then the '64-'67 spindles. This i don't have any info on myself though.

As for your question, the quickest way to tell is by checking the casting date on the back, '70s will be D0Za 8107/3108 with a letter behind the 8107/3108. The D0 is the year D=70's and the 0=1970. All 68-73 disc spindles have a triangular 3 bolt set-up for the dust shield, 67 and (disc and drum) earlier had a 4 bolt set-up.

Here is my page...hope it helps, and if you need more help, let us know.
