Spintech and side exhaust? Pics are welcome too!

I am been looking into getting a new exhaust maybe. I love my bassani's but I want side exhaust. I know some people love the spintechs. What are so good about them. Are they better than I bassani's in terms of power and are they louder. My bassani's are sort of quite. Plus anyone with pics of side exhaust please post. Snoozer I know will have some info on this. Thanks

Dustin

Spintech's sound really, really good. Go to their website for a video of a FOX with their side exhaust. I don't know what the LX is packing under the hood though so the sound could vary.

Yea, spintechs sound really exotic. But Bassani sounds great as well. You could have a shop bend some pipe for your Bassani's couldn't you? Probably would be big $$$ though.

Make sure you research getting the right SpinTech muffler. They have a couple models that if you have a good mid-pipe, they're sooo loud, you might as well be running open headers.

Here is a guy that recently got spintechs installed with an o/r h-pipe. Click the link to view the video and compare. http://forums.stangnet.com/showpost.php?p=4276997&postcount=85

Also, your Bassani's sound awesome!

It's a pretty radical cam, but I can't distinguish if it has short tubes or long tubes?

How bout a little more info?

something else..

How difficult was the install with the side exits? Was there more welding than usual and drilling involved?

I run Mac LTs/Prochmbr and Spintech Sportsmans...when I bring it up around 3500 and hit it, its got that same crisp sound...not quite as loud as his..The Sportmans are thier quieter muffler...and oh ya....my 19 cam dont even idle like that...thats sweet sounding....

I'd get busted in a heatbeat with that set-up...nice sound, but to much of an attention getter for me....

Do you think he has the Pro-Streets? I can't decide between the Sportmans and the Pro-Streets.

I would say yes..he's running Prostreets....I run tails to though..I ran it dumped the first night...WOW...Tails calmed it right down bigtime...Even mine will be loud dumped...When I called Spintech, they suggested the Sportmans to me....Check out Jadefalcon in the 5.0 tech...He has Prostreets to...his sounds badazz for sure...helps if you have the motor to produce the sound...such as the dude in the post...

So they suggested the Sportmans? Do you think the Pro-Streets will be too loud? I will be running either open mufflers or dumps.

Prostreets are known to be LOUD...if you can get away with it, than go for it..I still like to be able to hear myself think... I requested the quieter of the 2 they make...the owner sadi he had the Sportmans on his wifes LX and they sound sweet, but not as loud as the Pros...So thats how i choose...I wanted to run Spintechs anyway...only got 2 choices with them...
Sportmans dumped are sweet sounding to....dumped stuff drones bigtime to...
My neighbor heard mine that first night and was like W.T.F. did you do, I was running them dumped...
I usually throw in the clutch when I go by cops or shift to 5th the way mine is....so far so good...never been stopped for my set-up...

I'm not worried about the police. I just don't want it so loud that it is uncomfortable for my passengers and any bystanders.
