I don't know what all the talk is about tin cans or any of that nonsense..I've had spintechs on my car for almost 2yrs. with mac longtubes, pro-chamber & dumps... I would never go back to flowmasters. Now when I'm cruising my car has a nice mean rumble that you can hear/feel from a block away..It turns into a nasty roar when I get on it I'm sure it would sound different with shorties, but I wouldn't have it any other way

Edit: I have the Pro Streets

I run pro-streets on my coupe. 2.5" H-pipe dumped before the axle. I love how they sound, very very mean with the dumps, but I've decided to hook my tail pipes up again because I think it will quiet down my car more, but make it have a really killer tone comin out the pipes. No drone at all, but I have gotten a noise violation which cost me a $100 bucks (another reason to hook the pipes up.)

Anyways heres a vid I made awhile back.
Right click & download. If you just click on it, it may not download all the way (Starts outside the car, then goes inside the car so you can hear how it sound in there.)

I think the spintechs sound good, but my delta 40's definitely arent rusted out and are way deeper than the spins.

Ive had my spin techs for awhile and I like em. I had original 40's a looooong time ago but I had the stock H pipe and it sounded like $hit. But when I was buying my spin techs they only catback they offered came with there X pipe. Dont know if they have changed that yet or not. Anyways, to each there own.

I got mine from www.hiperformancemustang.com

They were the mufflers and flow tubes for $190 or so and then bought the Dynomax 2.5" stainless tails from Brothers Performance and it sounds great and looks aweasome!!!

That's the sound I'm looking for! The raspier the better IMO. With my Prochamber and cam I think I'm gonna be really happy. Which ones are the louder, raspier, meaner ones? Will they work with normal flow tubes or do they need special ones? I'd like to just buy the mufflers, slap them on once I get my Cobra rear bumper, along with a set of 3" tailpipes my mechanic has sitting around, and be done.

i have the spintech pro streets on my car and i get complements all day long on the way it sounds, i have them dumped so its real loud but i havent had any trouble with cops or anything they arent super loud at just crusing speed and there is no drone even with dumps, the mufflers have a real racy sound thats why most people like them

Ok, i need some advice. I am looking for a deeper tone for my 04 gt. I have flows and was looking at going with spintec pro streets with o/r xpipe but haven't heard many sound clips that sounded good.

Any suggestions?

Holy old thread

I just put on a pair of Spintech sportsman 3000 mufflers on mine. They sound great. Check youtube for some exhaust clips. I'm not sure how they would sound on a mod motor. I've got a good youtube clip saved on my youtube favorites. I'll post it up after I get off of work.
