my speed shop just told me that the mufflers were meant for use on turbo cars, i didn't read that anywhere, and he said they were not meant for 5.0 mustangs lol what is he talkin about??

Paul Perreca

I didn't find the pro streets on ebay, and what size is the inlet/outlet???????????

I dont know much about turbos so i dont know about that one. But a 5.0 doesnt care what muffler is behind it lol. Sounds like there is a little personal opinion being used in that statement. A lot of people think the only thing for 5.0's is flowmasters. Boy am i glad i didnt listen

mac flowpath mufflers are mean too. and dont forget about bullets, cheap, easy fitting, and mean. But I agree with you, spintechs are real nice.

Check out www.gtrhipo.com. They sell the Pro Streets for $64.99 each. I've had my Pro Streets for about a year now and I LOVE them. You won't regret getting them.

i think the site is messed up now, but you can still go to the bottom and click spintech mufflers, then click street catalog and it will have the mustang flowtubes.

Those mufflers are nice but they dont have the nice thing about spintechs. At idle they rumble like a mac flowpath, flowmaster, etc or any other chambered muffler but at WOT they scream like a straight through like dynomax or the like. The best of both worlds IMO

mine sounded great on the s/c 331. nice rumble at idle instead of the mellow slowmaster sound. sounds more like a musclecar...they flow better too. i had the sportsmans...good exhaust note. buddy has the pro's and they are LOUD.

yea but dude, you have a big block flowin alot more air, do you know if 302 to 302 the flows to spintechs... which are better?? and the spintechs are like 79 bucks a peice, i think flows are like 75 or something i duno..... i dont care the cost, i want it badass.

I want to know what kind of motor work that notch had done to make it sound like that, and how do you know which muffs they are, cuz i hope ur right, i'm gettin the pro streets!!

Both those clips that i posted are with 302 motors, this was recorder BEFORE the 466 swap. That convertable in the first movie has PROSTREET mufflers, same exact ones as i have now with the 466. The first video with JadeFalson's convertable has a 302, F-303 cam, powerdyne blower, offroad X pipe, 3 in. prostreets dumped. It is very loud, the video does them no justice, you have to hear them in person to appreciate how loud and beautiful they sound.

Yes they are legal for the most part. I doubt a cop will have test equipment to see if they are under a certain decible. It depends on the mods too....off road pipe or cats, hi compression, power adder, stroker...etc all add or take away from volume.

I got them in the mail last week, they are literally HALF the size of my flowmasters, same length, but half the width... you can see from one side to the other, and they have like 4 spintech baffels inside.... its gonna be massively loud lol

LOL, yeah i had the flows (40 series) first full exhaust, then dumped, then turbo came...... then the flows went, and thank god they did! SO now there R a pair of summit glasspacks on with a sidepiped exhaust...... MMMMM turbo back... if it's not a straightthrough muffler on a turbo, it's useless IMO.... I noticed a difference as soon as i changed em out. boost was better and sound was F'in beautiful! Although without a turbo i prob would never go with glass packs... Way to crackly...
