Put a Spintech on to my 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.2L V8.
Complete 3" piping with a turn down off the muffler. It's far too loud for daily driving.
Now I don't want to get rid of it as I like the sound but how can I tone it down? Will a tail pipe help?
::shrugs:: tail pipes quieted me down a LOT.. i USED to set off car alarms just idling by with my dumps... NOW i have to goose it :/ i actually kind of miss it being so loud...
If you have cats, or tails already, maybe add in a "race muffler". Putting one in the mix should quiet it down some without hurting power or sound quality.
