Hey all!! So,......... I finally got to take out the mustang. I bought it in January, so its been on jack stands. Damn Wisconsin weather!
It's a 86 LX, 306, Gt40x heads, b303 cam, 42lb injectors, 3" pro tube, 76mm Turbo, Bama chip, c4 auto.
The car idles fine. The lower part of the throttle is good too. Half throttle she spits and sputters. Full throttle, hell fire is unleashed, no problems. I cant find any vacuum leaks. All my gauges are reading good, during the spit and sputter.
The thing that comes to mind is the heat from the turbo. My plug wires are within an inch of the hot side. All the plumbing for the turbo is wrapped. But,......... I've had some wire covers start melting that were inches away from the hot side.
Any advise on where to start?
