I just finished reassembling my car from the winter project. I ported the heads, intakes, and tb. The car ran great last year before I put it away, now that it is back together I have problems. I have an 88 SD system, with a stick. I changed to longtubes, and I figured why not change the o2's? So I have new o2 sensors installed. Otherwise the combo is the same as it was last fall. The car isnt running right. It stumbles terribly around 2k, and seems to clear up some after 2.5k. It slightly misses all the way up to 5k it seems. I ran codes and the computer says it is a rich condition. Ok, so I turned my fp down, and it does the same thing. I ran the codes with it running, and it said ok on the fuel condition. I drove it up the road and back, same problem. When I got back i checked the codes again, still says I am rich. I had to extend the wires for the o2's, and I have new sensors. Could it be that I have a wire problem down there? I would think that the problem is localized within the fuel system, as the missing is in the same rpm range, plus I have new plugs and wires, so......... Could it be a faulty injector, since the injectors sat out? any input is greatly appriciated.
