spoiler removal

i'm thinking about taking my spoiler off, i read somewhere about some plugs or something that people used to put in the holes. what are these plugs and where can i get them?

they r just little rubber or plastic plugs. hole fillers. u can get them at home depot.

Ask a body shop to see how much it would be to fill it in for you. Shouldn't be a whole lot.

I would ask a body shop to fill them it would look better. You could also seek out a V-6 Stang owner with the same color and offer them a free spoiler and swap truck lids.

I did my '00 Gt (It's Black). I went to Home Depot, but they didn't have what I needed, and nobody knew what the world I was talking about. So I went to Lowe's. Same result, so I looked myself. What I wound up getting is 2 bags of 3/8" nylon hole plugs and 1 bag of 1/2" Nylon hole plugs. Works like a champ. No leaks so far and my car's black anyway.
