Anyone have to repaint their trunk after spoiler removal??

I plan on doing mine soon. Get the holes filled with fiberglass, wet sand the whole thing and bring it to the paint shop.

I think it would be easier to get a V6 of the same color to swap with you, or go to a place that deals in takeoffs. Try www.stangparts.com. They might be able to find you a V6 trunk lid that won't have any holes in it. Then you can keep yours in case you want to put it back on or sell it and get your money back for the V6 trunklid.

I took mine off a few weeks ago I just used some really sticky weatherstripping material to plug the holes it works nice for now. Now that I know I'm gonna stay wingless I will fill the holes with filler and wetsand and repaint myself. Should work rather well but I'm pretty experienced with paint work already so it's a bit easier for me.

Others will find it easier to do a trunklid swap
