Sportline Springs & Caster Chamber Plates

I want to put sportline springs in my stang but I cant afford the caster chamber plates yet is it even worth doing without getting them iknow they are recommended?

I have the sportlines, and I never got the camber plates. I did leave all the spring isolators in though.

you can install spring for now. But I do recommend getting one sooner or later. You may not need them, but its always nice to have more adjustability

I would just wait to you have the springs and cc plates.

Any drop more than 1.5in should probably have CC plates. I think the sportlines give you a 2.0in drop. I would just wait to install the springs until you have the plates.

Just use camber bolts and forget about CC plates.

thats advetised. I think mine dropped more like 2.25 inches dude..

well you could get away with it. But you are going to need them so save up and do it at the same time!!

Your alignment may be off and you'll tear up the tires faster, but you should be ok for a little while.

After my sportline install I did not need cc plates but my garage needed to
do major adjustments to get them in. Toe was out, both caster and camber needed adjustment. They did all they could without the cc plates. Any more
adjustment and I would have needed to install them. Got lucky.

I just dropped my car with the sport line springs and my tires are slanted alittle. You really have to look those to see it. If you have some nice tires i would some c/c plates because you'll wear them up quicker. I forgot to get the c/c plates that is why i didn't put them on.

Is there another kit that is just as good that doesnt need the cc plates or is eibach the best??

You could go with Eibach's Pro Kit. The drop is not as agressive and C/C plates are more of an option with these springs. My drop was less than 1.5 inches, a little more than an inch with aftermarket spring isolaters top and bottom.

I want more then a one inch drop so I guess I will have to buy the cc plates???

I installed my springs a month or so ago and I havn't dug up enough cash to get the cc plates yet. My front tires were so worn out already I wasn't to worried about messing um up. There are no problems yet with any thing, but I will have them in a week or so.

I heard that u wont need the cc plates with the Steeda springs. im getting some this summer, and i am not going to bother getting cc plates.
